The Lovely Martha is the third "Martha" to take fisherman and sightseers out through the Golden Gate from San Francisco. Her history spans many decades as an icon in the world-famous fishing fleet at home in Fisherman's Wharf.

Three generations of the Rescino family have escorted still more generations of fishermen in search of game fish, having boated hundreds of thousands of salmon and other species.

Some of our loyal customers fished on the Martha as children, and now they are treating their grandchildren to special fishing trips on the Lovely Martha as the tradition continues.

And still more tradition: The family succession moves closer as the next Captain Rescino is groomed for the position that he was born for.

You can see the Lovely Martha right from the sidewalk of Fisherman's Wharf (when she's not out fishing or sightseeing or shuttling partygoers). The Rescino Family has been berthing their fishing boats in that exact same spot for 100 years!
